A Family Business Built From a Mobile Van in 2006

Bavarian Motor Cars began as Bavarian Mobile Works, a mobile service operation John Anderson launched after working in franchised European dealerships. The mobile business let him apply and validate what he learned in that environment while independently serving European vehicle owners. As demand grew beyond a one-person mobile operation, John expanded Bavarian Motor Cars into a full-service European specialist shop.

John brought his family into the business as it grew. His wife, Michelle Anderson, became a Business Partner, and his son, Joshua Anderson, joined the team. The family remains involved today, helping preserve the personal service and direct ownership.

Bavarian Motor Cars eventually moved into a larger Alpharetta facility with room to continue growing. In 2026, the business celebrated 20 years of serving North Georgia's BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and MINI owners.

The business has grown from a mobile operation into an established Alpharetta shop. Its focus remains dealership-trained expertise, factory-level diagnostic capability, transparent pricing, and honest recommendations.

Meet John Anderson, Owner

John Anderson is the owner, founder, and lead technician of Bavarian Motor Cars. He founded the business in 2006 after years working in franchised European dealerships.

His dealership background helped shape the shop's specialist approach. Bavarian Motor Cars uses factory-level diagnostic equipment, including BMW ISTA+ with ICOM Next, Mercedes XENTRY/DAS, and the Autel MaxiSYS Ultra.

John remains directly involved in technical decisions as the shop's lead technician. His work supports the owner-operated standard that has guided Bavarian Motor Cars for 20 years.
